February 22 – 24, 2024: 3-Day Basic Operators Course
CAGC Chainsaw Basics Level 1 is a three day course. The first day is in the classroom at Varscona Hotel Edmonton, then two days at the cutting site only minutes off Anthony Henday Drive.
For students that are coming from out of town we conveniently provide preferred nightly rates at the hotel, and underground parking big enough for up to 1 ton trucks. If you are flying in from out of town like our customers from Fort MacMurray or elsewhere, for an additional fee we also have shuttle service to the cutting site for the practical portion of the course.
Students need their own CSA approved steel toed boots, safety glasses, and gloves. All other equipment and Personal Protective Equipment is provided, although students are welcome to bring their own PPE and chainsaws.
